Thank you Black Crowes! The Saturday show is in my top 3 all time favorite Black Crowes shows I've seen. For Crowes fans you can't get a better show from Marc and Ed on this one. Marc even co-sings on Don't Do It. Thanks again for letting me re-live a great memory. I was 12th row between Marc and Sven for this one wearing my Orange Oregon State Tye-Dye and dancing my ass off! A beautiful day at the Gorge and a Beautiful performance to end the Tom Petty Tour.

Thank you for making these shows available. This was the my wife and I's first show on the reunion tour in 2005, unfortunatly the Petty fans made this an unpleasant fist two songs with there childish throwing beer cans, and rocks at our group. Fortunatly for the two old men from beverly hills there was no uprising. The threat of them guys getting throttled infront of their wives and friends seemed to keep them at bay. After the rock hit my wife I addressed the fellow with a shot to the crotch with my foot, Then My group and I explained in a posotive yet firm way that we drove 5 hours for the boys, and there was little they could do to ruin this. One thing funny , I've been going to the gorge for years and never had this experience before. Even at the Pearl Jam show the night before not a crazy soul in the house. it was like night and day with the fans of these two differnt bands crowd wise. Needless to say, I've never had that much take place at a concert during the first to songs, However the show and performance were stellar, Good Friday and Remedy were smokin'. I was lucky to get the Thorn in My Pride, cause for some reason I never really hear it. Kinda strange considering we've seen them 20 times. I bought tix to both shows just to see the Crowes, and after the first show my buddy hunted down tix for the second night. He has been hooked ever since. My favorite was the 3rds show. Don't do it was awesome I love this song. As in the previous comment I would have to seriously agree that the ballad-->wiser was one for the ages. Thanks to all involved in the production of these shows and the band as well,Thank you for making each show a new experience.....These particular shows hold a special memory and time for me and I'll never get tired of them....peace

Thank you for making these 2 nights available! I had never been able to find live recordings from these shows. The sound quality is stellar on these downloads. The Gorge is one of my favorite venues. The weather, sunset, and especially the performances were out of this world. These were the last 2 nights that the Crowes had to open up for the stagnent and mellow Tom Petty crowd. I especially feel that night #2 was fantastic. I've seen plenty of Crowes shows, but I literally got chills from an especially moving Ballad In Urgency while watching the sun go down over the Central Washington landscape. The Columbia River meandering through an intensly deep gorge. It wasn't too windy, which can sometimes affect the sound at this venue. In my opinion, the band was running on all cylinders from August through New Years of 2005. These Gorge shows represent the Crowes smack dab in the middle of that period. Thanks again!
